Technology Monitor
 

The technology monitor is a role dedicated to helping students and staff resolve technical issues on exam day. In-depth technical expertise is not required and technology monitors are only expected to follow the troubleshooting tips in the AP Technical Troubleshooting Guide which will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Be on-site on exam day. 
  • Assist students who are having technical issues—technology monitors can assist students in the exam room, in the hallway, or in a designated help room. 
  • Follow the tips and instructions in the AP Technical Troubleshooting Guide
  • Provide backup devices to students, if available.

Work Location
The AP Exams will be conducted at a location on 92nd Street and Amsterdam avenue.  Makeup exams will be given the week of May 19th at Columbia Grammar & Preparatory School which is on 94th Street between Columbus & Central Park Ave West.

Work Dates & Times - Must be available all dates
May 5 AM only (7:45- 1PM) 
May 6 AM only (7:45-2 pm) 
May 7 AM and PM (7:45-4:30PM) 
May 8 AM and PM (7:45-3:30) 
May 9 AM only  (7:45-1PM) 
May 12 AM only  (7:45-1PM) 
May 13 PM only (7:45-5:30PM) 
May 14 AM and PM(7:45-5PM) 
May 15 PM only (11:45-5PM) 
May 16 PM only (12-4:30) 
Makeup exams will be given the week of May 19 on CGPS campus, so we'll need tech help "on call." 

Compensation
This will pay an hourly rate of $50 - $60 per hour based on experience and background.  This is a part time opportunity that is not eligible for benefits.
